The Sexual Health Media Lab aims to refine theories related to cultural context, media and sexuality in African-American adolescents, and to develop HIV interventions that capitalize on the media’s powerful impact on sexual attitudes and behaviors in this population. Current projects include the development of media-based intervention tools and identifying the physiological affect of exposure to stereotypical sexual imagery.
