Nandi Edouard - Class of 2015
Nandi Edouard is a junior, psychology major from Marietta, GA. She is currently the president of a mental health awareness organization on campus called PEPers (Peer Education Programmers). She is interested in developmental psychology and adolescent health care. As a type 1 diabetic, she has been interested in researching genetic factors and disorders related to diabetes within children. The sexual health and media lab gives her an opportunity to better understand adolescent behaviors and explore the media’s impact on this age group. Her future goals after graduating from Spelman will be to enter a graduate school program focused on health care psychology and becoming a pediatric healthcare psychologist. Her long range plans are to teach and own a daycare/academy.
